Terms and conditions

These terms explain how we work, from booking a survey through to installing your boiler, and your rights along the way. They apply to boiler supply and installation carried out by N Gas Services UK Ltd for customers who are not buying as a business.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. Who we are

We are N Gas Services UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13501943. Our registered office is at 173 Albert Road, Aston, Birmingham, England, B6 5ND.

We are registered with the Gas Safe Register under number 638561. You can check our registration at gassaferegister.co.uk.

You can contact us by phone on 07446 964536, by WhatsApp on the same number, or by email at [email protected].

Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", that means N Gas Services UK Ltd. Where they say "you" or "your", that means the person buying the boiler and installation.

2. How the contract works

Prices shown on our website are a guide based on a standard installation. They are not a quotation and they are not an offer to sell.

There are two stages:

  • Stage one. You book a free survey, either through our website, by phone or by WhatsApp. We come and look at your property.
  • Stage two. After the survey we give you a fixed written quotation for the installation. A contract for the installation is formed only when you accept that quotation in writing, which includes by email or text message.

You are under no obligation to accept our quotation, and the survey is free either way.

3. Booking a survey

You can book a survey slot through the calendar on our website, or by contacting us directly. Booking is free and there is nothing to pay at this stage.

When you book online, you are choosing a provisional day and time. We will call you to confirm the appointment, check we have everything we need, and answer any questions before the visit.

We will always try to fit the appointment around you, including evenings and weekends where we can.

4. The home survey

The survey normally takes around 30 minutes. We will need access to your existing boiler, your gas meter, and anywhere pipework or a flue may need to run.

At the survey we will confirm whether the boiler you have chosen is suitable for your property. If it is not, we will explain why and recommend an alternative. You are free to choose a different boiler or not to proceed at all.

We will give you a fixed written quotation covering the boiler, parts, labour and any additional work identified. The quotation is valid for 30 days.

If you cannot make an appointment, please let us know beforehand and we will happily rearrange it. There is no charge for the survey and no charge for rearranging.

5. Cancelling or rearranging

Because booking a survey costs you nothing, you are free to cancel or rearrange at any time before your appointment, with no charge. Just call, text, WhatsApp or email us.

Once you have accepted our written quotation and we have started work at your request, your right to cancel that installation ends, because the work is carried out to your specific requirements at your property. Your legal rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

6. When you pay

There is nothing to pay to book a survey, and nothing to pay for the survey itself.

If you accept our quotation and we install your boiler, payment for the work is due on completion, unless we have agreed another arrangement with you in writing beforehand.

We will agree the price and how you would like to pay before any work begins, so there are no surprises. We accept debit and credit cards and bank transfer.

7. Prices and payment

Website prices are a guide for a standard installation. Your actual price is the one in your written quotation after the survey.

A standard installation assumes we are replacing an existing boiler in the same position, that the existing pipework and flue route are suitable, and that no additional work is required. Where more is needed, for example a full system flush, pipework upgrades, asbestos removal or building work, we will price it separately and tell you before we start.

All prices include VAT where it applies.

The balance is due on completion, unless we have agreed another arrangement in writing.

8. Installation and access

We will agree an installation date with you. Most installations are completed within one working day, though larger jobs can take longer. We will tell you if we expect yours to.

You agree to give us safe access to your property on the agreed date, along with a supply of electricity and water.

We will treat your home with care and clear up after ourselves. We will remove your old boiler and packaging.

Some things are outside our control and cannot always be predicted before we open up a system, for example hidden pipework, asbestos, or existing faults elsewhere in the system. If we find something like this we will stop, explain it, and agree with you how to proceed before doing any further work or incurring any further cost.

On completion we will commission the boiler, register it with the manufacturer for its warranty, and issue you with a Gas Safe certificate and Building Regulations notification.

9. Warranties and guarantees

Your boiler comes with a manufacturer's warranty. The length depends on the model and is shown on each boiler on our website. We register every boiler with its manufacturer on your behalf.

The manufacturer's warranty is provided by the manufacturer, not by us, and is subject to their terms. Most manufacturers require the boiler to be serviced annually for the warranty to remain valid. It is your responsibility to arrange that servicing.

The exact warranty length depends on the boiler and, for some manufacturers, on the installation being carried out under their accredited installer scheme. We will confirm the warranty that applies to your chosen boiler before you go ahead.

We separately guarantee our own workmanship for 12 months from the date of installation.

These guarantees are in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected.

10. If we cancel

We may cancel if the boiler you have chosen becomes unavailable, if the survey shows we cannot safely or practically carry out the work, or if something outside our reasonable control prevents us.

If we cancel, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund everything you have paid in full.

11. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods and services we supply.

We are not liable for faults in parts of your heating system that we did not supply or install, or for pre-existing faults that we identify and tell you about but which you choose not to have repaired.

We hold public liability insurance. Details are available on request.

12. Complaints

If something is not right, tell us. Call 07446 964536 or email [email protected] and we will respond within 5 working days and set out how we intend to put it right.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise the matter with the Gas Safe Register where it concerns gas safety, or with Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 for consumer advice.

13. Your personal information

We use your details only to arrange your survey, prepare your quotation, carry out your installation, register your warranty and meet our legal obligations as a Gas Safe registered business.

We do not sell your details to anyone. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Our full privacy notice is available on our privacy policy page.

14. General

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to you are the ones published on this page on the day you accept our quotation.

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
