N Gas Services UK Ltd is the data controller for the information described in this policy. This means we decide how and why your information is used.
We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13501943, registered with the Gas Safe Register under number 638561.

2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and carry out your work. Depending on how you deal with us, that may include:
- Your name
- Your address and postcode, including the property where the work is to be done
- Your phone number and email address
- Details of your enquiry, such as which boiler you are interested in and information about your current heating system
- Photographs you choose to send us of your existing boiler or installation
- Records of the work we carry out, including the Gas Safe certificate and warranty registration
- Your correspondence with us, by phone, WhatsApp, email or our website form
We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, described in section 7.
3. How we collect it
We collect your information when you:
- Fill in the enquiry form on our website
- Call, text or WhatsApp us
- Email us
- Book a survey through our website
- Have us carry out a survey or an installation at your property
4. Why we use it
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
- Arrange and carry out your survey and installation
- Take payment for your installation when the work is done
- Register your boiler with the manufacturer for its warranty
- Issue your Gas Safe certificate and notify Building Control as the law requires
- Keep records we are legally required to keep as a Gas Safe registered business
- Answer questions and deal with any complaint or warranty claim afterwards
We do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
5. Our legal basis
Data protection law requires us to have a lawful reason for using your information. Ours are:

7. Payments
You do not pay anything through our website. There is no online checkout and no card details are taken on this site.
If you go ahead with an installation, you pay us directly for the work, and we agree with you how you would like to pay beforehand. We accept debit and credit cards and bank transfer.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it:
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted
- Installation and gas safety records: for at least 6 years, to meet our legal obligations and to support your warranty
- Accounting records: for 6 years plus the current year, as HMRC requires
When we no longer need your information, we delete it or destroy it securely.
9. How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Our website is served over a secure, encrypted connection, we limit who can see your details to those who need them for your job, and we keep our devices and accounts protected.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but if a breach ever affected your rights we would act quickly and tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office where the law requires it.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, where we do not have a legal reason to keep it
- Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it
- Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office
To exercise any of these, just contact us using the details in section 14. We will respond within one month and we will not charge you.
11. Cookies
Our website itself does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Some features we rely on may set cookies of their own when you use them, for example the WhatsApp button, so that they work properly. These are limited to making the feature function. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
12. Children
Our services are for homeowners and adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information about children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear.
